KARIMNAGAR, JULY 31, 2024: Telangana Northern Power Distribution Company Limited has embarked upon an ambitious ‘Pollam Bata’ (field visit) to educate the farming community to install capacitors to the agricultural motor pump sets to ensure a smooth flow of power supply with utmost quality.
Accordingly, NPDCL Karimnagar Superintending Engineer Vadlakonda Gangadhar launched the ‘Pollam Bata’ programme from Chamanpalli village in Karimnagar rural Mandal on Wednesday. Informing the farmers to fix capacitors to the agricultural pump sets and borewells, he explained the importance of capacitors to ensure quality power supply.
He had personally explained to the farmers that the power supply improved with the fixation of capacitors to the agricultural pumps. He fixed a capacitor to a farmer’s agricultural pump set and showed the performance of the motor pump with more efficiency with high-speed water pumping.
He informed the farmers to fix all the agricultural connections with capacitors and foot-valve for quality power supply and improvement of efficiency of pump sets. He also advised the farmers to purchase only ISI-mark pump sets and use HDPE pines. He said that the NPDCL authorities would fix the capacitors to the pump sets after purchasing the same by the farmers. DE Jampala Rajam, ADE K Raju, AE Naresh and others were also present.
