‘No student is failed in SSC exams’, campaign launched by Collector in Karimnagar

KARIMNAGAR, MAY 03, 2024: Buoyed over the success of bringing back SSC failed students back into the mainstream of education by ensuring that they pass the SSC exams in March 2024 results, Collector Pamela Satpathy, who took up the cause to ensure that no student is failed in the SSC examinations in the district, had launched a special campaign to ensure cent per cent pass of all the students including the students, who failed three to four years ago.

The Collector identified around 124 persons, who failed the SSC examinations and turned into child labourers by working in the fields and assisting their family. She had ensured the government paid their examination fees and ensured that they had special classes with the teachers. Among them, 95 students wrote the examination, 72 students had passed out in the examination with flying colours and emerged as role models.

Inspired by the success formula, the Collector has embarked upon an ambitious task of ensuring that there was no SSC failed student in the district. During the last academic year 2023-2024, around 421 students had failed in the SSC examinations. In order to give a fillip to the campaign, the Collector conducted an orientation programme with the SSC failed students along with their parents in Karimnagar town on Friday.

On this occasion, the Collector boosted the morale of the students saying that “nothing is impossible in this life”. She informed the students to work hard for another 30 days and they would excel in the SSC examinations and continue their further education and excel in their chosen career. She also exuded confidence that the students would excel and bring reputation to their parents.

Recollecting that when she was scared of failing in one subject, she said that she would write all the examinations in spite of suffering from fever and passed the examinations with good marks. She informed the students to shun the fear of failing in the examinations and study well.

She was all praise for Lavanya, who was failed in all the six subjects earlier, and now cleared the examinations with good guidance and coaching provided by the teachers. DEO Ch VS Janardhan Rao, AD Narasimha Swamy, sectoral officer Ashok Reddy, district science officer Jaipal Reddy, and others were also present.
