
HYDERABAD, JUNE 05, 2025: Cadets belonging to the National Cadet Corps to the Sister Nivedita School (SNS), Ameerpet, Hyderabad, displayed commendable discipline, enthusiasm, and leadership at the NCC Annual Training Camp-II, held from May 19 to May 28, 2025, at the University Postgraduate College, SP Road, Secunderabad. The camp was specially conducted for students of Class IX, offering a blend of physical training and character-building activities.
A total of 20 cadets participated in this enriching 10-day camp, which included drill sessions, weapon training, map reading, obstacle navigation, firefighting, first aid and cultural activities. The training aimed to nurture a spirit of patriotism, teamwork, and civic responsibility among the cadets.

A proud moment for the camp was when Cadet Dhruv Suneil Tadka was awarded a gold medal by LT COL TUPURANI SARAT, COMMANDING OFFICER 3 T BN NCC, for his exceptional performance in firing, earning applause from T/O B. Koteswara Rao ANO, instructors and fellow cadets.
The camp was graced by several dignitaries. Dr. Lalitha Kumari, Principal of Sister Nivedita School, applauded the cadets and praised the girls who came 2nd in the race and for their active participation and encouraged them to carry forward the values learned. Dr Sudhakar Polasani, Chairman, emphasised the role of NCC in shaping responsible and courageous citizens. Mr. Harihara Prasad, Director, praised the efforts of the staff and trainers in organising a well-rounded and impactful camp.
The event concluded with a colourful valedictory function featuring a march-past, cultural performances, and a display of skills learned during the camp. Cadets returned with renewed confidence and a deeper sense of national pride.
