KARIMNAGAR, AUGUST 23, 2024: Students of Government Old High School, Karimnagar town, on Friday celebrated the National Space Day to commemorate the landing of spacecraft Chandrayaan-3 on Moon’s south pole on April 23, 2024.
This year the theme is “Touching Lives while Touching the Moon’ to conduct educational programmes and exhibits to inspire the future scientists and raise awareness of space technology’s impact on society.
Accordingly, Space Scientist Panjala Srikanth Goud empowered the students about the importance of space science, use of satellite, rocket science etc and it was helping the society. Headmaster Sheik Chand, science officer Jaipal Reddy, faculty members A Nataraju Chary, and others were also present.
JAGTIAL: Similarly, the department of Physics and Chemistry of SKNR Government Arts and Science college in Jagtial town also organised National Space Day. Principal A Ashok Kumar explained how the country was progressing in space technology and called upon the students to choose space science, astronomy and rocket science for their higher education. Vice principal A Srinivas, NCC officer Lt P Raju, faculty Sai Madhukar, Govardhan, K Srinivas, librarian K Surender and others were also present.
