KARIMNAGAR, AUGUST 23, 2024: Students of Bhagavathi High School, Bhagathnagar, Karimnagar, organised National Space Day celebrations on Friday to commemorate successful landing of Chandrayaan-3 Vikram Lander on the lunar (Moon) south polar region on August 23, 2024.
School chairman B Ramana Rao and Director B Vijaya Lakshmi formally launched the celebrations by lighting the lamp. On this occasion, Mr Ramana Rao said that the success of Chandrayaan-3 had placed India in a elite of space exploring nations of the world. He informed the students to keep pace with the technological and scientific advancements taking place around us every day.
On this occasion, the students made presentations on ISRO and India’s progress in Space technology and launching of several satellites. They also designed prototype models of satellites and showcased their creativity and interest space science.
