PEDDAPALLI, DECEMBER 21, 2024: Pallavi School, Nimmapalli, Peddapalli, celebrated the National Mathematics Day among the students on the eve of the birth anniversary of great mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan which is celebrated on December 22.
As a prelude to the birth anniversary eminent mathematician, the students participated in the celebrations with enthusiasm by displaying over 80 working models and over 70 charts on Saturday. The parents had arrived in large numbers to witness the hidden talent of the student community who explained about their models and won accolades.
The school management also conducted elocution and quiz competitions for the students on the maths subject. School correspondent Shobha Rani said most of the students were afraid of mathematics. But in Pallavi Model School, regular activities based on this subject were performed in the classes, which makes mathematics the most interesting subject for the students.
The students participated in various activities such as symmetry, understanding the concepts of arithmetic operations and other models. Principal Vani, Maths teachers Santosh Kumar, R Sravanthi, Shaziya others played crucial roles in the success of the national Maths Day.
