National Mathematics Day is observed at Alphores schools in Karimnagar

KARIMNAGAR, DECEMBER 21, 2024: National Mathematics Day was celebrated at the Alphores e-techno school, Kothapalli, on the outskirts of Karimnagar town on Saturday, on the eve of the birth anniversary of mathematician Dr Srinivasa Ramanujan on Saturday.

The celebrations began with the lighting of lamps and paying floral tributes to the portrait of Srinivasa Ramanujan by SRR college principal K Ramakrishna, Alphores educational Institutions chairman V Narender Reddy and eminent academician Drumin Pandya and others.

On this occasion, the students participated in various competitions on mathematics enthusiastically. The students displayed models based on various facts. The main objective of National Mathematics Day was to reveal the hidden talent of the students and to increase their interest in the subject.

On this occasion, the prizes were distributed to the winners of Alphores Maths Olympiad Test (AMOT) Karimnagar zone winners. The Karimnagar zone winners include first prize Maneesh, second prize N Niraat Nandam and third prize Sadam from fifth class, from sixth class K Shiva Karthik (first prize), A Karthik (second prize) and Sai Rithvik (third prize).

From seventh class: A Chaitra (first prize),G Karthik (second prize) and Shiva Rama Krishna (third prize). From eighth class; A Aradhya (first prize), G Ramarchan (second prize) and Ch Ashwith Reddy (third prize).

Ninth class: S Jayavardhan (first prize). M Advaith (second prize) and K Agasthya (third prize) and from tenth class; S Deeraj (first prize), S Shourya Teja (second prize and Asiya (third prize)

The AMOT winners from Alphores educational institutions include; from fifth class: T Sruthi (first prize). Ch Varshith Reddy (second prize) and V Arjan (third prize). From Sixth class: G Sahasra (first prize), D Dakrakar (second prize) and ChM aha (third prize). From seventh class: E Likithi (first prize). D Suhaan Pargna (second prize) and N Sharash (third prize).

From eighth class: P Vamshikrishna (first prize). A Gautham (second prize). From the Ninth class: M Eshwar Sai (first prize), Samyuthi (second prize) and Tahllauddin (third prize) and from the tenth class: Y Ashrith Priya (first prize), Aravind (second prize and D Harshith (third prize.
