KARIMNAGAR, DECEMBER 21, 2024: The National Mathematics Day was celebrated at the St George International School (CBSE) and Paradise High School in Karimnagar town on Saturday as a prelude to the birth anniversary Srinivasa Ramanujan, which would be observed on December 22, who made an exemplary contribution to mathematics.
Students of all classes participated in the programme. Children explained the importance of mathematics through speeches and couplets. A quiz programme was organised, in which students from all various houses.
The event began with the lighting of the lamp by Chairman P Fatima Reddy, Academic CEO Umakanth, Principals Bhargav, Vasantha, & Niranjan, Vice Principal Madhu and the Mathematics team. The Schools chairman Fatima Reddy encouraged the students to participate in such activities in future. He also commanded the Mathematics faculty for their guidance and support.
Students presented lectures, Skits, and dances on mathematics, followed by an exhibition of their projects on Ramanujan geometry, dynamic systems game theory etc… The main objective of National Mathematics Day was to reveal the hidden talent of the students and to increase their interest in the subject. The school principals said that such competitions increase the student’s knowledge, which conveys the message of the dedication of the experts in various subjects to the children.
