KARIMNAGAR, OCTOBER 29, 2024: The National Ayurveda Day was celebrated on the occasion of Dhanvantari Jayanti at the Telangana Social Welfare Residential Degree College for Women, Nagunuru, on the outskirts of Karimnagar town on Tuesday.
District Ayurvedic doctors Dr Sanjeev Kumar, Dr Amarnath, Dr Sadanandam and Dr Rajitha have enlightened the students about the importance of Ayurveda medicine. They said the Ayurveda is millions of years old medicine and helps us lead a healthy life.
The doctors also conducted a medical camp and distributed medicines to the students. They also conducted a yoga and meditation to relieve stress. Principal T Malathi, vice principal G Samatha, College medical officer Dr Chaitanya, NSS programme officer T Geetha Rani and other faculty members were also present.
