KARIMNAGAR, FEBRUARY 29, 2024: The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) in association with the Spandana Seva Samithi, voluntary organisation, has imparted 15-day training for the women Self-help group members in saree rolling, polishing and dry cleaning at CBI colony in Godavarikhani coal belt of Peddapalli district.
A total 30 women members availed the training for taking up self-employment units and turn into entrepreneurs. The closing ceremony was conducted on Thursday wherein NABARD DDM Jayaprakash handed over certificates stipend to all the participants.
On this occasion, Mr Jayaprakash said that they had imparted special training for the womenfolk to make them entrepreneurs. Union Bank of India manager Gopikrishna assured financial assistance for the women to set up self-employment units. Spandana seva samithi CEO Shoba Rani, coordinator Gauthami, trainers Raja, Begum and Bhavani and others were also present.
