National Science Day celebrated at Kora and Johnson Global Schools

KARIMNAGAR, FEBRUARY 29, 2024: Kora High School celebrated the National Science Day to commemorate the discovery of Raman Effect by Sri Chandrashekhara Venkata Raman (CV Raman) on its school premises in Karimnagar town on Thursday.

On this occasion, the students demonstrated various science experiments on the occasion. They showcased their instinct knowledge of why and how of various scientific principles. The students and parents visited the exhibition to witness the performance and understand the concepts. The students’ models on hydraulic lift, earthquake alert system, drip irrigation, environmental pollution, Sri Ram mandir in Ayodhya and others captivated the audience.

Earlier, the school chairman Mahipal Reddy, directors Varaprasad, Ram Reddy, Simhachalam, Harikrishna, Vangala Santosh Reddy and others formally inaugurated the science fair by lighting the lamp. Appreciating the students, they wished them best of luck for their future endeavours.

Similarly, the Johnson Global school also celebrated the National Science day on its premises by organising a science fair called ‘Anvesh 2024’ on Wednesday.

The students presented several models such as functioning of human body such as digestive system, lungs, heart, kidneys etc. They also presented models on how the country would face environmental programmes with the growing population and pollution and suggested methods to check pollution by growing more trees and ban the use of plastics.

The school management provide participation certificates to all and prizes to the winners of various models class-wise. On this occasion, the management also felicitated the science teachers for the successful conduct of the science fair.
