
HYDERABAD, JUNE 25, 2025: The National Academy of Agricultural Research Management (ICAR-NAARM), Hyderabad, inaugurated the 17th batch of its flagship academic programme, i.e., Postgraduate Diploma in Management – AgriBusiness Management (PGDM-ABM) on June 24, 2025. Dr Gopal Lal, Acting Director, NAARM, graced the occasion as the chief guest and addressed the new batch of Students. He emphasised that dedication, time management, focus, and personal growth are the utmost important to excel in a career. As important citizens of the country, they should act and play a crucial role in the development of the agriculture sector, he added.
The batch comprises 62 students, out of which 31 are girls, from 14 different states across the country, reflecting the diversity and national reach of the programme. They are from 5 different disciplines during their undergraduate studies. This 2-year academic journey would enable the students to become competent agri-business leaders, said Dr T. Srinivas, Head, ABM division. The inaugural ceremony was attended by Dr Sivaramane, Principal Scientist; Drs. Ranjit Kumar, P.C. Meena, Nirmala, Ganesh Kumar, Dhandapani, other scientists and staff of the Academy.
