Ex-serviceman donates television to start digital classes
JAGTIAL, SEPTEMBER 19, 2024: Velgatoor Mandal Parishad Development Officer Vemula Vijaya Lakshmi has formally inaugurated the digital classroom at the Mandal Parishad Primary School in Gollakota village of Velgatoor mandal on Thursday.
Incidentally, Ex-serviceman from the village Muduganti Ramana Reddy had donated the digital colour television for the conduct of digital classes to the students. Mr Ramana Reddy was also instrumental in participating in several developmental works of the primary school.
Lauding the noble gesture of Ramana Reddy for donating television to start digital classes, the MPDO said that the Primary School in Gollakota village is model one among all the government schools in entire state. She said that the students in this school come in full uniform, shoes, tie, ID cards etc following the donations by the philanthropists. She said that the school functions on par with any private corporate school.
Stating that she would inform about the Gollakota primary school to the Collector and ensure more funds for further development, she said that she would be visiting at least once in a month to the school.
On this school, the MPDO felicitated the ex-servicemen Ramana Reddy for his donation to start a digital classroom. School headmaster Ch Raji Reddy, teachers N Naresh Kumar, S Rama Devi, Malathi, Prashanth, K Krishna Reddy, Srilatha, Sarpanch Ponnam Swaroopa and others were also present.
