HYDERABAD, AUGUST 28, 2026: Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka has directed officials to expedite mineral exploration activities in the Devadurga Gold–Copper Block.
He said that the exploration block secured by Singareni through the auction, being located close to Hutti Gold Mines, presents a major opportunity. He directed officials to make use of Hutti Gold Mines’ technical expertise in the Devadurga project.
The Deputy Chief Minister instructed officials to accelerate exploration using advanced technological methods to assess the quantity and quality of mineral deposits in Devadurga. He also directed them to prepare plans in advance for the next phase of activities so that they can be taken up immediately once the exploration yields encouraging results.
He further directed the Singareni CMD to complete all necessary arrangements at the earliest for the early inauguration of the Singareni site office to be established at Devadurga.
During the visit, Singareni CMD Dr. Buddha Prakash Jyoti, Director (Planning & Projects) Venkateshwarlu, General Manager Pankaj Kulshreshtha, Raichur Zilla Parishad member Amjad, Hutti Gold Mines senior officials Arunava Ghosh, Safiyulla Khan, Vidhatri Upund and Yemnoorappa Gowda, along with retired Colonel Dastagirisaheb Dafedar, participated.
