

LONDON, MARCH 20, 2025: Megastar Konedala Chiranjeevi has received the prestigious lifetime achievement award from British government on Wednesday evening (March 19, 2025), in recognition of his contributions to cinema and society. Incidentally, Mr Chiranjeevi is the first Indian celebrity to be honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award of British government.

The award ceremony was conducted at House of Commons was attended by eminent dignitaries, including members of parliament Navendru Mishra, Sojan Joseph and Bob Blackman and others.
On this occasion, Mr Chiranjeevi posted in his X: “Heart filled with gratitude for the honour at the House of Commons-UK Parliament by some many esteemed members of parliament, Ministers and undersecretaries, diplomats, humbled by their kind words. Heartened by the Life Time Achievement Award by team Bridge India. Words are not enough. But a heartfelt thank you to each one of my wonderful loving fans, blood brothers, blood sisters, my film family, well-wishers, friends and all my family members and everyone who in every which way contributed to my journey and participated in the humanitarian causes I have been championing. This honour motivates me to continue my work with great vigour. And love to each one of you for your beautiful congratulatory messages”.
Many from the film industry and political circles have been praising the self-made actor for his remarkable journey and achievements. Among those congratulating him is his brother, star actor and AP Deputy CM K Pawan Kalyan. He took to social media platform X to express his admiration for his elder brother, who has been a great source of inspiration to him.
