RAMAGUNDAM, AUGUST 14, 2026: The MHP Workshop was inaugurated by Sri Chandan Kumar Samanta, ED (R&T), in the gracious presence of Sri Mukul Rai, CGM (O&M), Sri Naveen Gupta, GM (OPN & FM), Sri Avijit Datta, GM (Maintenance & Administration), Sri Binoy Jose, GM (Projects) and Sri Sagar Ranjan Sahoo, HOHR, Sri V. Venkata Ramesh, AGM(FM)Â and other senior officials, on Friday.
The MHP Workshop is equipped to facilitate the overhauling, repairing and maintenance of major conveyor components, including gearboxes, fluid coupling units, pulleys and other critical mechanical equipment. The facility is expected to strengthen in-house maintenance capabilities and enhance equipment reliability and availability.
Following the inauguration, Sri Chandan Kumar Samanta, ED (R&T), along with the other dignitaries, addressed the gathering and delivered an insightful pep talk. They emphasized the importance of maintaining the highest standards of safety at work locations as well as in personal life and urged all employees to remain vigilant and safety-conscious while carrying out maintenance activities.
As a gesture of appreciation, rewards were distributed to workers who demonstrated exemplary safety consciousness at the workplace, encouraging others to adopt safe working practices.
The programme concluded successfully with a vote of thanks, marking a significant milestone in strengthening the maintenance infrastructure and safety culture of MHP.
