PEDDAPALLI, FEBRUARY 14, 2024: A mass aksharabhyasam programme (initiation of education to a child) was performed at Gayatri Vidyanikethan School in Peddapalli town, with several children and their parents taking part in the ritual on the occasion of auspicious Vasanta Panchami on Wednesday.
Amid chanting of vedic hymns, the children were initiated into the world of letters by writing on new slates. Earlier, the school correspondent Allenki Rajani Srinivas along with Chairman Allenki Srinivas offered special prayers to Goddess Saraswati, the goddess of learning, creating a pious aura in the campus.
On this occasion, some of the students arrived by donning the roles of goddess Saraswati. The students also present cultural programmes explaining the significance of the Vasanth panchami and worshipping goddess Saraswathi. Principal Vijay, faculty Rajiauddin, Sravanti, Naveen and others were also present.
