Manair Educational Institutions chairman Anantha Reddy announces to contest MLC elections from Teachers constituency

He is confident of securing BJP ticket and victory in the elections

KARIMNAGAR, SEPTEMBER 22, 2024: Manair Educational Institutions Chairman Kadari Anantha Reddy has announced to contest the Legislative Council elections from the Karimnagar Teachers Constituency, which are scheduled to be held in March 2025.

Disclosing this to newsmen here on Sunday, Mr Anantha Reddy said that he was confident of securing the BJP ticket for the Council elections as the TRSMA, Telangana junior and degree colleges associations have met the Union Ministers Bandi Sanjay Kumar and G Kishan Reddy seeking the party ticket. Exuding confidence of victory in the ensuing elections, he said “I am confident of winning the elections with the BJP ticket or without party ticket”.

Stating that the Election Commission of India had provided the right to vote for the private teachers also for the ensuing Legislative Council elections from the Teachers constituency, he said that the private teachers constitute in large numbers and they would take up enrolment of all the private teachers and ensure that they exercise their franchise. He said that they would be distributing and fill Form 19 for the enrolment of private teachers as voters for the Teachers Constituency from September 30 onwards.

Talking about his vision for the development of the education sector in the Telangana state, he said that he had studied in government school only. Of late, the government schools have been plagued with several problems such as lack of infrastructure and adequate subject teachers, he said and added that the government schools with good infrastructure would transform the students because of the availability of well-qualified teachers.

Similarly, he said that the government should provide some concessions to the budget-private schools by giving power supply and property tax. He also said that the government should resolve the GO 317 issue and immediately release pending four DAs to the government teachers and employees. He said that he would strive for quality and value-based education if elected as MLC by raising the issue in the Legislative Council.
