KARIMNAGAR, JANUARY 03, 2025: The state government has sanctioned M Pharmacy course at the University College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Satavahana University, in Karimnagar town from the academic year 2025-26 onwards.
This announcement was made by Satavahana University Vice Chancellor Prof U Umesh Kumar while releasing the University wall calendar 2025 on the university premises on Thursday. The VC said that they would take all measures for the admissions into M Pharmacy courses from the academic year 2025-26 from June this year. He said that the B Pharmacy students of the university excelled in all competitive examinations.
He said that he had ensured that the government had sanctioned the University’s Engineering College and LLB courses by prevailing upon Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy in December 2024. He said they would conduct campus placements every year and called upon the students to study hard and excel in their chosen careers. He also said that they had introduced a biometric attendance system for the benefit of students and helped them attend all classes regularly. Registrar M Varaprasad, Assistant Registrar Y Kishore, Controller of Examinations Sriranga Prasad, Business management HoD Manohar, various university colleges’ principals Ravikanth, Jayanthi, Sujatha, sports secretary Munavaruddin, PD Vijaykumar and others were also present.
Prof S Sujatha has been appointed as Principal, of the University College of Arts and Social Science, SU, following the appointment of existing principal Mohd Jafer Jari, Associate Professor, Dept of Urdu, as Director, the Directorate of Admissions, SU. Similarly, the University appointed K Padmavathi, Associate Professor, Dept of Sociology, as Director, of the Women’s Cell, SU and Director, the UGC Affairs Cell, SU.
