Advita International School’s Student Council members meet Collector Pamela Satpathy

KARIMNAGAR, JANUARY 03, 2024: The Student Council of Advita International School, Bhagathnagar, Karimnagar, met Collector Pamela Satpathy at the Collectorate to convey New Year wishes on Wednesday. The visit was marked by the presentation of eco-friendly, handmade cards crafted by the students as a token of respect and goodwill. These cards symbolized the school’s commitment to sustainability and creative expression.

During the interaction, the students recited a solemn oath pledging to be responsible young citizens aligned with the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The oath reflected their determination to work towards a sustainable and equitable future through mindful actions in their daily lives.

The highlight of the visit was the proposal to establish an SDG Club for the district, envisioned as a platform for schools to collaborate, exchange ideas, and implement initiatives to promote the SDGs. The students expressed their enthusiasm for cultivating a sense of collective responsibility among the youth to address pressing global challenges.

Collector Pamela Satpathy appreciated the students’ thoughtful initiative and encouraged them to continue their efforts in making a positive difference. Adding to the accolades, Managing Director Anudeep Sowgani praised the Social Department and the Student Council for their dedication in spreading knowledge globally and for their environmental awareness. Principal Madhuri Swetha emphasized that such initiatives reflect the school’s vision of creating proactive, ethical leaders with a commitment to societal and ecological betterment.
