Little Feet, Divine Moves: The Play School’s Janmashtami Dance and Song Competition

Students celebrated the Stages of Lord Krishna with Joy and Enthusiasm

HYDERABAD, AUGUST 22, 2024: Students of The Play School and Sister Nivedita School, Ameerpet, Hyderabad, celebrated the Janmasthtami with religious fervour and gaiety on the school premises on Thursday.

Tiny tots, attired as Lord Krishna and Radha, enthralled one and all with their performance. The school premises were decorated as Lord Krishna’s village Gokul. The management of the schools organised vibrant dance and song competitions for the tiny tots of The Play School centred on the theme “Stages of Lord Krishna’. The event was a resounding success with the students showcasing their talent, creativity and devotion to the revered deity.

The enthusiastic participants from Junior and Senior Discoverer, depicted different stages of Lord Krishna’s life, from his birth to his divine adolescence. The children mesmerized the audience with their energetic performance of the “Makhan Chori” episode, where Krishna steals butter from the villagers, and their graceful depiction of Krishna’s divine dance with the Gopikas, showcasing their budding skills.

The parents, Mrs. Goparaju Sri Ramya, and Mrs. Bhagayashri Paliwal, were the judges for the Junior Discoverer classes while Mrs. Sowmya Vedati and Mrs. Petla Navya, were the judges for the Senior Discoverer classes. The judges praised the children’s confidence and expressions.

From Junior Discoverer( LKG); Devineni Jaisya, M. Dhruva, Vanshika Prusty and T. Lishan and from Senior Discoverer( UKG)- Nagam Sai Ishika, T. Tharun Balaji
T. Tarun Sri Hari, Bathala. Rishika, K. Aadhya Sree, Tirumala Shrinika, Aradhithaa Sai and Ishan Agrawal have won prizes for their best performances. Students enjoyed the celebrations with festive spirit and great excitement.
