HANAMKONDA, AUGUST 17, 2024: “Every member of the Lions’ Club should feel proud of being its member as Lions’ Club is wedded to the universal well-being in the service sector,” remarked Lions International Director Dr Gannamaneni Babu Rao.
Participating as the chief guest in the ninth District Cabinet Installation Ceremony ‘Sankalp’ of 320F Lions District at Reddy Convention near Madikonda of Hanumakonda district on Saturday, Dr Babu Rao exhorted the Lions to spread their services to the countryside too as the Lions’ Club believes in ‘Where there is a need, there is a Lion’. He appreciated the service activities of 320F undertaken during the Installation ceremony by distributing sewing machines to 50 needy women and bicycles to 100 girl students.
GAT Area Leader PID R Sunil Kumar administered oath to the district leaders of 320F. Dr Chandrasekhar Arya as FVDG, Narahari Sudhakar Reddy as FVDG, Syed Habeeb as DCS, Nivedita Reddy as DCT led by Governor Kunduru Venkat Reddy took the oath. The Ceremony was presided over by District Governor Kunduru Venkat Reddy. PRO Katanguri Ramgopal Reddy, Tirunagari Narender, Prof T Dayakar Rao, Dr Ajit, Peddi Venkat Narayana Goud were among those who took the oath. Dr P Venumadhav Rao acted as master of the ceremony.
