RAJANNA-SIRCILLA, AUGUST 17, 2024: An alumni of Zilla Parishad High School, Jillela, Rajanna-Sircilla district, has come forward to take up various initiatives for the benefit of the student community of the school.
An alumnus Suthari Harikrishna, an NRI settled in the USA, had announced scholarships in memory of his parents Suthari Mallaiah and Suthari Lakshmi from the academic year 2023-24. According to, the alumnus has distributed financial assistance of Rs 10,000 to the first ranker of the school in SSC examinations E Neha and distributed Rs 5,000 each to E Srija and Sk Mustafa
On the other hand, alumni of the school Rachakonda Satish and Rachakonda Santosh have donated 165 steel water bottles as part of their campaign against the use of plastics in memory of their mother Rachakonda Annapurna.
Another alumni Ettireddy Srinivas Reddy has donated the SSC examination material to the students for helping the students to excel in the examinations. Then 2007 and 2008 batch alumni Saili Venkatesh, Bolagam Ramesh, Velishala Mahesh and Makala Srinivas donated the carpets for the students to eat the midday meals comfortably.
And Rachakonda Rajani Santosh has donated Rs 1,000 to a student, who had excelled in a letter writing competition to her grandparents in memory of her father, who died of lightning.
ZPHS Jillela headmaster J Anuradha thanked the noble gesture of the alumni of the school and appealed to them to support the students for their bright future. Retired teachers Muralidhar and Rama Rao, former sarpanch M Madhu, Ettireddy Srinivas Reddy, T Sathaiah, teachers Rajeshwar Rao, Ramesh, Vikram, Laxma Reddy, Srinivas, Sharada, Padma, Shailaja, Shirisha, Samatha, Neeraja, Sai Praneeth, Santosh and others were also present.
