Bank Chairman Konduru Ravinder Rao informs officials to work out modalities for providing pensions to the employees to lead a decent retired life
Instructs the bank officials to maintain cordial relations with customers to increase business growth and deposits
KARIMNAGAR, JANUARY 01, 2025: With the boundaries between work and personal life increasingly blurred, which has in many ways led to increased stress and fatigue levels, to beat such lifestyle trends, the Karimnagar District Cooperative Central Bank (DCCB) has decided to open a gymnasium at its main office in Karimnagar town to keep the employees fit and healthy.
Taking a cue from several IT companies in various parts of the country which have provided fitness amenities to their employees and curbed the stress levels amongst employees, the Karimnagar DCCB has decided to open the state-of-the-art gym on the premises of the DCCB headquarters premises in Karimnagar town very soon.
Responding to a suggestion for opening an open gym at the New Year celebrations conducted on the premises of KDCCB in Karimnagar town on Wednesday, NAFSCOB and Karimnagar DCCB chairman Konduru Ravinder Rao stressed the need for opening a state-of-the-art modern AC gymnasium for the benefit of all the employees including womenfolk. Educating the importance of opening a workplace gym, he said that workplace gyms save employees time and effort by removing the need for a separate journey to a gym.
Quoting the saying ‘Health is wealth’, he said that the workplace gym would encourage regular movement leading to better physical health and reduced risk of chronic diseases. The exercise releases endorphins, which reduce stress and anxiety, he said and added that the workplace gym would increase productivity and working relationships.
Mr Ravinder Rao also accepted the suggestion for providing a pension to the retired employees of the Karimnagar DCCB to lead a decent retired life. He informed the bank officials to work out modalities to provide pensions to the retired employees and exuded with confidence that it was possible and viable too.
Expressing concern over the slow growth of the business of the bank, he informed the banking staff to improve customer services to remain relevant in an intensely competitive financial business environment. “Good customer service is the heart of banking service delivery. Banking is predominantly a customer-oriented business and good customer service is the key to banks’ growth and stability,” Mr Rao stated.
Reminding that the Karimnagar DCCB was providing the highest interest rates for the deposits when compared to any commercial banks, he said that bankers should change their attitude towards the customers and maintain cordial relations to increase business and deposits. CEO N Satyanarayana Rao, Director V Mohan Reddy, Aluvala Kotaiah, B Gopal Rao, general managers B Sridhar and Md Riyazuddin, DGM N Satyaprasad, AGMs L Rajashekhar, Mirza Imtiaz Ali, G Mahesh, B Narasimha Reddy and T Nagaraju, PACS Development Centre resource person G Satyanarayana, main branch manager K Sunil, Union leaders Praveen, Hanumantha Rao, Sravanthi, Srikanth, Raju and others were also present.
