KARIMNAGAR, AUGUST 17, 2024: In a bid to promote card transactions and stay competitive, the Karimnagar District Cooperative Central Bank (DCCB) has emerged as first the cooperative bank in the Telangana and Andhra Pradesh states to launch Rupay contactless Platinum Debit Card on Saturday.
Karimnagar DCCB CEO N Satyanarayana Rao, general managers B Sridhar and Md Riazuddin, main branch manager K Sunil, premises manager G Hanumantha Rao and Sarvatra representative Amar Sharma was also present.
Some of the features of the premium Platinum debit card include personal accidental insurance and permanent disability coverage of Rs 2 lakh without any payment of premium, access to airport lounges domestic, international and railway lounges, contactless payment up to Rs 5,000 (there is no need to enter PIN number for POS transactions), exclusive merchant offers, Amazon pay offer, Swiggy offer and the card will also get rewards and offers.
CEO N Satyanarayana Rao informed the existing debit card customers to switch-over to the new Rupay contactless Platinum debit card for availing several benefits. The Platinum debit card comes with a special feature for the convenience of customers that is accepted at all payment channels-ATMs, POS and e-commerce, he stated
