In a first, the national song ‘Vande Mataram’ was rendered at the bank
KARIMNAGAR, AUGUST 15, 2026: The Karimnagar District Cooperative Central Bank (DCCB) celebrated the 80th Independence Day with patriotism and fervour on Saturday.
In a first for Independence Day celebrations, ‘Vande Mataram’ was rendered at the KDCCB head office complex in Karimnagar town, followed by the recitation of the national anthem. As part of the 150 years of the enduring legacy of the national song Vande Mataram, the Union government has made it mandatory to sing the national song at government functions, the unfurling of the national flag and other events.
Karimnagar DCCB CEO N Satyanarayana Rao hoisted the Tricolour at the bank head office in Karimnagar town. On this occasion, the CEO recollected the successful performance of the bank during the last over two decades and added that the KDCCB had made several strides in all sectors with the support of the employees, who worked as a team.
Stating that the Karimnagar DCCB emerged as a role model cooperative bank in the country, he said that the bank had won several national awards for its outstanding performance from the NAFSCOB and NABARD. He informed the employees to maintain cordial relations with the customers and increase the customer base. He also urged the bank employees to have a humanitarian touch with the customers and strive to increase the deposits, as the KDCCB was providing the highest rates when compared to other banks. General Manager B Sridhar, DGM Y Brahmanandam, AGMs L Rajashekhar, Mirza Imtiaz Ali Baig, G Mahesh, T Nagaraju, R Narasimha Reddy, PACS Development Centre Resource Person G Satyanarayana, Union leader G Hanumantha Rao, managers K Sunil and Prasoona, and others were also present.
