HANAMKONDA, SEPTEMBER 21, 2026: Plans are in motion to organise an extensive Hackathon, bringing together participants from every district in Telangana State.
This significant event will be co-hosted by Kakatiya University in Warangal and T-Hub in Hyderabad. Kakatiya University’s Vice Chancellor, Prof. K. Pratap Reddy, and RUSA Nodal Officer, Prof. R. Mallikarjun Reddy, met T-Hub CEO Kavikruth in Hyderabad on Monday to address several pivotal aspects of the programme.
They talked about the logistics of executing a large-scale Hackathon, ensuring participation from all districts, and creating ample opportunities for students, youth, and technical professionals. The event will be officially launched at Kakatiya University, with the Telangana State Education Department also joining in on the effort.
The hackathon will serve as an exceptional platform for students, youth, and tech talent across the state to present their innovative ideas and technological solutions. During the meeting, Telangana Government Education Department’s Skill Development Coordinator, Rhea Simon, along with representatives from Science Technologies, Krishnadavi and Geetha, contributed to the discussions.
Speaking on the occasion, Vice Chancellor Prof. Pratap Reddy said, “This prestigious hackathon, organized in partnership with T-Hub, will nurture technical skills, creativity, and innovation among Telangana’s youth, providing startups with a chance to display their ground-breaking ideas, products, and solutions, as well as connect with industry experts to elevate their innovations.” The Hackathon aims to discover and encourage young innovators and startups, aligning with the future’s technological demands, he added.
