Performance of JITS Students in SAP Code Unnati Innovation Marathon 2025–26
KARIMNAGAR, MARCH 17, 2026: The SAP Code Unnati Innovation Marathon 2026 was successfully organised on March 13, 2026, at Kommuri Pratap Reddy Institute of Technology (KPRIT), Hyderabad, in association with Edunet Foundation, TASK, and SAP. The event was conducted with the objective of encouraging creativity, problem-solving abilities, and technical skills among students from various educational institutions.
The programme began with an inaugural ceremony. On this occasion, several dignitaries and industry experts participated and addressed the students. Minister for Labour, Employment, Training & Factories, and Mines & Geology Dr Vivek Venkatswamy Gaddam attended as the Chief Guest and inaugurated the event, and motivated the participants to move forward in the field of technological innovation.
The marathon received an enthusiastic response from students. A total of 560 participants from various institutions, mainly from the states of Telangana and Karnataka, registered for the competition. After a rigorous selection process, 109 teams were shortlisted for the quarterfinal round. From them, 64 teams advanced to the semifinal stage, and finally 29 teams were selected for the final round.
Students presented innovative technological projects aimed at solving real-world problems. Industry experts and judges evaluated the projects based on creativity, feasibility, technical implementation, and potential impact.
In the final results, Shaik Zohaib Ur Rahman and Panuganti Varshini, students of Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology and Science (JITS), emerged as the winners. Their project stood out due to its innovative approach and practical applicability.

On this occasion, Chairman of Jyothishmathi Group of Institutions, Juvvadi Sagar Rao, and Secretary & Correspondent J. Sumith Sai congratulated the students and appreciated their dedication and talent.
Principal T. Anil Kumar, Dean (Academics) P. K. Vaishali and the faculty members also extended their heartfelt congratulations to the students and expressed hope that they would continue to excel in innovation and research activities in the future.
They stated that such achievements reflect the institution’s commitment to promoting creativity, research orientation, and practical learning among students. They also encouraged students to participate actively in more national-level innovation competitions and showcase their abilities.
The event concluded with the announcement of results and the presentation of awards to the winners, followed by a vote of thanks and a group photograph session. The marathon served as an excellent platform for students to demonstrate their skills, interact with industry experts, and gain valuable exposure to real-world technological challenges.
