KARIMNAGAR, SEPTEMBER 06, 2026: Elaborate arrangements have been made for the smooth conduct of the 70th School Games Federation (SGF) Karimnagar Urban Kabaddi championship at Manair CBSE School, Padmanagar in Karimnagar town on September 7 and 8.
Manair Educational Institutions chairman and district Olympic association patron K Anantha Reddy inspected the arrangements on Sunday and directed the authorities to ensure that there were no hindrances in the conduct of the competitions and informed them to make adequate arrangements for the visiting students.
The competitions would be conducted in the under-14 and under-17 categories for boys and girls separately. The competitions would be conducted on September 7 for boys and on September 8 for girls. A total of 2,500 students from 60 schools would attend the competitions.
The competitions were being organised by the district educational department in association with Manair Educational Institutions. SGF Urban Secretary A Shankraiah, Private PETs association president B Sridhar Goud, secretary Daram Gautam Reddy, treasurer K Anup Kumar, S Mahender, Sridhar Redd, Anil, Arjun, Akhilesh, Vinay, Mufassil and others were also present.
