KARIMNAGAR, NOVEMBER 04, 2024: Department of Computer Science Engineering (CSE) of Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology and Sciences (JITS) autonomous, Karimnagar inaugurated a two-day workshop on ‘Data Engineering using Cloud Technologies’ on the premises on Monday.
The workshop was aimed for the fourth year B Tech (CSE) and CSM students. It is focused to guide students in understanding about quality and structured data used in AI/ML models. By the end of the course, students gained proficiency in pre-processing techniques, scaling cloud computing resources and optimize performance for handling large datasets and they applied their knowledge to real-world projects, gained hands-on experience with project implementation that enhances their problem-solving.
Sai Vineel Thamishetty, Lead Data Engineer, Industry Expert, Walmart, Bengaluru, was the resource person. JITS chairman J Sagar Rao, Secretary J Sumith Sai, Principal Dr K S Rao, Dean Academics and Audit Dr K Vaishali, HoD-CSE Dr R Jegadeesan, Coordinator Mrs G Sindhusha and other faculty members were also present.
