KARIMNAGAR, NOVEMBER 22, 2024: The Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology and Sciences (autonomous), Karimnagar, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the SR University, Warangal, for a collaborative partnership between two institutions to promote academic, research, cultural exchange and enhance mutual cooperation in various areas of common interest.
The MoU was signed by JITS Dean (Academics) Dr PK Vaishali and SR University Dean (PhD programme) Dr Balajee Maram at JITS college in Karimnagar town on Friday. Under the terms of agreement, the institutions have signed for faculty and staff exchange and student exchange programmes. It would be facilitating student mobility programmes such as progression pathways, study abroad programmes, short-term programmes, internships or research opportunities. It would be promoting collaborative research projects, sharing research findings and publishing scholarly articles or academic papers jointly.
The faculty members of JITS to be recognised as research supervisors and will be allotted with full-time and part-time PhD scholars. Under curriculum development, the institutions will share expertise and best practices to enhance the quality of educational programmes, including developing joint courses, curriculum design and pedagogical innovations.
Under Cultural and academic events, they would conduct joint seminars, workshops, conferences and cultural activities to foster cross-cultural understanding and academic discourse.
