JITS conducts orientation programme for Diploma first year students

KARIMNAGAR, JULY 19, 2024: The Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology and Sciences (autonomous) on the outskirts of Karimnagar town organised an orientation programme for the students of Diploma first year students of new batch on the college premises on Friday.

Speaking on the occasion, JITS chairman J Sagar Rao briefed about the academics and teaching pedagogy at JITS. Empowering the students about the importance of professional courses for their employment and settling in their chosen career, he called upon the students to accord priority for their education and focus on their career so that they can lead a comfortable life after their education and bring reputation to their parents. He also advised the parents to concentrate on the education of their wards and interact with the college management to know about the progress of their children.

College Principal Dr KS Rao, Dean PK Vaishali, Diploma incharge and heads of various sections and faculty members explained about institution profile, faculty experience and management. They also enlightened on new C-24 curriculum. As per the new curriculum, the course structure will contain six theory and four laboratory courses in each semester for five semesters except for the sixth semester during which the students must undertake industry internships.
