KARIMNAGAR, JULY 18, 2026: The Siddartha High School, Bhagathnagar, Karimnagar, conducted its Investiture Ceremony, formally installing the student council of four houses viz Dhoni team, Messi team, Dhyan Chand team and Vishwananthan Anand team, on Saturday.
The ceremony commenced with the traditional lamp lighting by School chairman Dasari Sripal Reddy and Director Swapna Reddy, and recitation of the Gayatri Mantra, followed by cultural performances by junior students. School chairman Dasari Sripal Reddy administered the solemn pledge to the cabinet members, who vowed to uphold integrity, foster unity and serve the institution with dedication.
The newly invested leaders received badges and sashes amid thunderous applause, their expressions reflecting pride and responsibility. On this occasion, Mr Sripal Reddy addressed the students emphasising leadership is about service rather than privilege. “True leaders inspire through example, demonstrating compassion, accountability and unwavering commitment to collective welfare,” he said.
Later, he distributed DNR scholarships instituted in memory of Siddartha schools founder Dasari Narasimha Reddy. The scholarships of Rs 10,000 each was distributed to the students, who excelled in the last academic year. He also distributed academic excellence mementoes to the students who excelled in sports and achieved 100 per cent attendance.
