KARIMNAGAR, MARCH 09, 2025: Sapthagiri High School, Sapthagiri Colony, Karimnagar town, celebrated International Women’s Day with pomp and gaiety by organising various activities for women teachers and mothers of the students on Saturday evening.
The event included poster-making and slogan-writing competitions, where students expressed the vital roles women played in society. Other activities like ‘selfie with mother’, ‘role model speech’ and ‘nail art’ contests and other fun games were also held as part of the event.
School Chairman Mandala Nagesh Reddy spoke about women’s rights, emphasizing their contributions to the nation’s development. Principal Anitha Reddy said that the women were excelling in all the fields on par with their male counterparts.
Government teacher and motivational speaker Palle Srinivas Reddy empowered the womenfolk and educated the parents to encourage the girl children by providing them with education and other facilities on par with the boy children. On this occasion, the girl students showcased their skills in martial arts and won accolades. The cultural programme by the students also captivated the audience.
