India’s cultural diversity on display at Alphores Monthly Carnival

KARIMNAGAR, AUGUST 09, 2024: The prodigious students of Alphores e-techno school, Kothapalli, on the outskirts of Karimnagar town, brought alive diverse culture and traditions of the country symbolizing ‘Unity in Diversity’ as part of ‘Alphores monthly Carnival-2024’ on Friday.

The students dressed in the various states’ attires exhibited multiple models showing diversified India with different cultures, traditions, languages, food habits, languages and historical temples. Besides, the students also presented models on the importance of various festivals of the country including Bonalu, Ganesh Chathurthi, Navarathri, Raksha bandham, Dasara, Deepavali and more. The students also narrated the Indian freedom struggle highlighting the roles of freedom fighters and their sacrifices for the cause of liberation of the motherland from the clutches of British rulers.

They also enlightened the role of IAS officers by presenting a National Civil Services Day model. The students also highlighted the role of farmers in feeding the country. Some students presented models on the importance of checking environmental pollution by taking up massive plantations and avoiding using plastics and hazardous products. They also expressed concern over the disposal of e-waste material in the country with the excessive usage of technology such as cellular phones, electric vehicles, batteries and more.

The Carnival was formally inaugurated by Alphores Educational Institutions chairman V Narender Reddy by lighting the lamp and offering prayers to Goddess Saraswathi. He went around all the stalls and models interacted with the students and inquired about their exhibit. Speaking on the occasion, he highlighted the importance of preserving cultural identity. He encouraged the students to take pride in wearing and owning the traditions and practices that are passed down to keep their unique heritage alive.
