
KARIMNAGAR, JUNE 21, 2025: Doctors associated with the Indian Medical Association (IMA) Karimnagar celebrated the 11th International Yoga Day with a vibrant and engaging event promoting physical and mental well-being through yoga at the IMA hall in Karimnagar town on Saturday.
IMA district president Dr Anamalla Naresh said that the celebration brought together the doctors and para-medical staff to participate in a series of activities aimed at fostering a healthy lifestyle and mindfulness. The event kicked off with a rejuvenating yoga session led by the school yoga instructor, S Sampath Kumar. “The sessions provided a unique opportunity to experience the transformative power of yoga along with techniques to manage stress and enhance overall wellness,” said Dr Naresh.

He said yoga is an incredible tool to embrace holistic wellbeing and attain better health standards for society at large, especially the youth. He added that International Yoga Day celebrations at Spring Dale are a testament to the fact that the school is committed to nurturing not only academic excellence but also the physical and mental health of students. IMA district secretary Dr Siripuram Naveen Kumar, Treasurer Dr Ch Vijay Kumar, IMA leaders Dr Ramkiran, Dr Mohan Reddy, Dr Srilatha, Dr Anamalla Sridevi, Dr Ravikanth, Dr Sravanthi, Dr Swapna and others were also present.
