KARIMNAGAR, FEBRUARY 19, 2025: The Institute for Global Development (IGD) and the Ashirvaad Smart India Programme targeting the crucial issue of Iodine deficiency syndrome (IDD) promoting healthy eating practices among the womenfolk in Karimnagar district.
Accordingly, the ICG conducted an awareness programme with the CDPOs supervisors and sector Anganwadi teachers at Durgabhai Women and child centre at LMD in Karimnagar town on Wednesday.
On this occasion, Dr Prasad educated the ICDS staff about the importance of Iodine and its implications. District Welfare Officer K Sabitha Kumari.D district coordinator Mittapalli Little, Poshan Abhiyaan staff Nagaraju, Prameela and others were also present.
