PEDDAPALLI, AUGUST 15, 2024: Patriotic fervour gripped Pallavi Model School, Rangampalli in Peddapalli town on the occasion of the 78th Independence Day celebrations on Thursday. The campus was decked up with tricolours and balloons to create a festive atmosphere.
Under the supervision of the Correspondent Shobharani, the chief guest Banda Mallanna, a leading businessman and Kristaiah, a retired government PET, the celebrations began at the Pallavi Model School by hoisting the national flag. The Principal of the school Vani has enlightened the students about the importance of Independence Day and the struggles faced by Freedom Fighters.
Students recited Shlokas with the support of Latha. The pre-primary students performed march past and also mass drill under the training of school PET Imraan. Students danced to the tune of Vandemataram, which was choreographed by the class teacher Rajitha. Nursery students who dressed as little soldiers and danced on Nanha munha rahi hoooo… it was choreographed by Soumya.
On this occasion, the questions were asked to students on Independence day. It was surprising to note that the students had given correct answers. The credit will surely go to the class teacher Salma.
A tiny tot Harini of PP 1 has performed Bharthanatyam along with her teacher Malathi and won accolades. Competitions were held on the occasion of Independence day and Prizes were also been distributed to the winners. The school head boy and head girl along with the sports captain and vice-captain were also given batches.
A vote of thanks was given by Lavanya. The Programme was successfully organised by Correspondent Shobarani and Director Karthik. Overall activities was set by Venella. The parents were happy to witness the event.
