KARIMNAGAR, SEPTEMBER 18, 2024: A team of doctors from Prathima Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), Nagunuru, on the outskirts of Karimnagar town, organised a health awareness programme for the students of Telangana Social Welfare Residential Degree College for women, Nagunuru, on Wednesday.
The PIMS hospital in coordination with the college Health club conducted the programme. On this occasion, the PIMS doctors team led by Dr Amith Kumar visited the college and empowered the students on first aid treatment and CPR techniques to the students. They were also enlightened about the treatment for the sudden choking, snake bites and injuries.
Principal T Malathi thanked the hospital management and said she was grateful that the hospital has made the students aware of many first aid techniques including CPR. PIMS medical officer Dr Chaitanya, other doctors Koushik, Geetha Reddy, Vice principal of the college G Samatha, faculty member Padmaja and others were also present.
