HYDERABAD, JUNE 04, 2025: Telangana State Governor Jishnu Dev Varma interacted with the Assistant Collectors under training of 2024 batch IAS officers allotted to Telangana state, at Raj Bhavan in Hyderabad on Wednesday.

Urging them to stay connected with the people, the Governor emphasised the importance of accessibility and ground-level engagement. “Travel, meet people, understand their concerns — that’s the essence of public service,” he said. Congratulating the officers, he noted Telangana offers ample opportunities for innovation and meaningful contribution to development.
MCRHRDI Vice Chairman & DG Santhi Kumari, IAS (Retd.), and Course Director Dr. K. Usha Rani accompanied the trainees, who included Saurabh Sharma, Saloni Chhabra, Harsh Choudhary, Carolyn Chingthianmawi, and Koyyada Pranay Kumar. Principal Secretary to the Governor, M. Dana Kishore, briefed them on the roles and responsibilities of the Raj Bhavan.

The Governor also felicitated the successful candidates from two Telugu states in the UPSC Civil Services and Indian Forest Service Examinations – 2024 at a function held in the Durbar Hall of Raj Bhavan, Hyderabad. Congratulating the achievers, the Governor hailed their success as a result of discipline, determination, and perseverance. He described them as torchbearers of public service, urging them to serve with humility, integrity, and compassion. “You are not just officers in waiting, but architects of India’s future,” he remarked.
The Governor also lauded the legacy of civil servants from the Telugu states and acknowledged the vital role played by families and mentors in the success of the candidates. Principal Secretary to the Governor M. Dana Kishore, along with senior officials, faculty, and family members, were present.
