ADILABAD, APRIL 02, 2024: Adilabad District Educational Officer T Pranitha on Tuesday issued orders suspending School Assistant (Physical Sciences), M Mahender Yadav, working at ZPHS, Bharampur village in Thalamadugu mandal, for visiting Thailand nation without obtaining prior permission from the authorities concerned.
It may be recalled that this website www.hindudayashankar.com has published a news item “Govt Teacher Goes on Foreign Jaunt as part of business trip without information from the district authorities” on March 30, 2024. Responding to the news, the DEO had initially issued show-cause notice to the School Assistant on April 1, 2024 asking him why action should not be initiated against him for touring foreign country flouting norms and without obtaining no-objection certificate (NOC).
Not satisfied with the action initiated against the government teacher, who bought disrepute to the educational department, the PRTU district unit leaders exerted pressures on the state government. Immediately, the DEO issued orders suspending the School Assistant Mahender Yadav pending inquiry into grave charges.
The School Assistant, who also do business of marketing a branded water purifying plants, had visited the Thailand from March 9 to 14, 2024 as part of the business trip arranged by the branded company for doing good business of selling the water purifiers. However, the School Assistant visited the Thailand nation without securing NOC from the government, which is a blatant violation of norms.
Besides, the School Assistant had violated the norms of doing other side business along with the noble teaching profession. Taking the action of the School Assistant as a serious crime, the DEO had suspended Mahender Reddy and instructed him not to leave the district headquarters without prior permission from the authorities concerned.
