KARIMNAGAR, FEBRUARY 23, 2024: The Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO), regional office, Karimnagar will hold Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0 (PF Near You) programme, an awareness camp and outreach programme jointly with ESIC (Suvidha Samagam) in the integrated Karimnagar and Adilabad districts on February 27 with the theme of International workers.
On that day, the programme will be held at CAIMS, Bommakal, Karimnagar outskirts, Rice Millers Association building in Peddapalli town, Bharath Beedi Company, Metpally, Kids convent high school, Vemulawada, Municipal council conference hall, Mancherial, Municipal council meeting hall, Sirpur Khagaznagar, DRDA conference hall, Adilabad and Municipal council meeting hall, Nirmal.
Karimnagar Regional PF Commissioner Selvatkar Thanaiah said the theme of the month was ‘international workers’ explaining certificate of coverage, requirements for filing of claims, basics of international workers (definiation, benefits etc) and social security agreement (SSA). The nodal officers would explain about the special provision for international workers in EPFO and also about excluded employee, detached worker, Indian employee etc. Besides, social security agreement such as what are the provisions covered under the SSA and who shall become the members of the fund and what are the countries that made SSA with India.
Further, they would also empower on updating KYC, e-nomination, digital life certificate in Face App, and various other benefits of EPF and EPS, the release stated.
