Former Scientist in Space department participates in a seminar at JITS and provides guidance to students
KARIMNAGAR, SEPTEMBER 25, 2024: Former Scientist in Space Department and Life Mentor @Shiksha-JNAANAM Dr TP Sasikumar said that the engineers have to be creative thinkers and be the architects of tomorrow.
Dr Sasikumar was speaking at a seminar on “Engineers of Tomorrow, Dream, Design and Deliver’ organised by Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology and Sciences (autonomous) on the outskirts of Karimnagar town on Wednesday. He called upon the students to be pure, chaste and develop good character to learn with devotion.
Stressing upon the need of reading both extensively and intensively to get the grasp of all the subjects, he informed the students to acquire knowledge of all disciplines in engineering. He advised the students to simultaneously learn not only academic education but also the blend of technical skills, soft skills and communication skills.
He informed the students to practice meditation and spirituality for peace with oneself so that great things can be achieved. “Udyamam (movement), Sahasam (adventure), Dhairyam (courage), Buddhi (intelligence), Shakthi (power) and Parakramam (valiant) are great human virtues to get succeeded in life”, he pointed out.
He had an interactive session with students and posed questions on what is science and engineering and how they can combine to provide useful technologies. He also explained about the job market for the students. He informed the students to register for MOOC (massive online open courses). JITS chairman J Sagar Rao, Secretary J Sumith Sai, Principal Dr KS Rao, Dean Dr PK Vaishali, HoD Jagadeesan and others were also present.
