
Hanuman Jayanthi celebrations on May 22 at Kondagattu temple shrine
Several thousand devotees are expected to visit the temple to offer prayers

JAGTIAL, MAY 20, 2025: With the Lord Hanuman Jayanthi celebrations scheduled to be held on May 22, the devotees wearing Hanuman Deeksha mala were seen walking barefoot, braving scorching summer in the integrated Karimnagar district to the ancient and historic Sri Anjaneya Swamy devasthanam in Kondagattu of Jagtial district.
After seeing the plight of Hanuman deeksha devotees walking barefoot to the Kondagattu shrine, eminent physician Dr Daram Raghu Raman, as a token of goodwill, has come forward to donate cotton socks to the devotees to protect them from the scorching heat wave conditions while walking barefoot.
Through Daram Susheela Devi Charitable trust, Dr Raghu Raman distributed socks and ointments to the devotees at Deshrajpalli stage on the outskirts of Karimnagar town on Tuesday, and on the way to the Kondagattu temple shrine. They also distributed a Lord Hanuman portrait.
Appealing to the philanthropists to provide the required benefits to the devotees of Hanuman deeksha, Ramesh Swamy, Nune Srinivas, Meru Bhumaiah, Suman Naik, and others participated in the noble gesture of providing socks and ointments to the Hanuman deeksha devotees.
