
HYDERABAD, OCTOBER 01, 2026: As part of the nationwide Swachhata Hi Seva (SHS) 2026 campaign, the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Southern Sector, organised a Shramdaan programme on Thursday morning, in line with the nationwide initiative “Ek Din, Ek Ghanta, Ek Saath.”
The programme was organised with the objective of promoting cleanliness, civic responsibility and active community participation. CRPF personnel, along with residents of the Doyens Township community and CMC staff, took part in cleanliness and sanitation activities at Gopi Cheruvu, Serilingampally.

The programme was graced by the MLA of Serilingampally Arekapudi Gandhi, CRPF Inspector General Thummala Vikram, DIG’’s Praveen Ghag, Dr Sanjay Kumar, and Pankaj Kumar and CMC Deputy Commissioner Seva Islavath, DEE Anand along with staff Doyens Township Secretary Kiran Kumar and Vice President Shaji Mathew, Advisor Lingareddy and residents have participated in the Shramdaan and encouraged the participants to contribute towards maintaining clean and healthy surroundings by planting trees along the lake.
The initiative highlighted the importance of Jan Bhagidari (people’s participation) in achieving the vision of a cleaner and more hygienic India. The programme also reinforced CRPF’s commitment towards social responsibility and supporting the Government’s Swachhata initiatives.
