One State – One Card for All Welfare Schemes
Launches attack on BRS and BJP for opposing the Musi River Front

HYDERABAD, OCTOBER 03, 2024: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy said that the government has announced plans to go ahead with the ‘One State – One Card’ policy and extend all welfare schemes to benefit all eligible persons.
The Family digital card will help as a protective shield for every family. All the welfare scheme benefits will be provided through a single card. The family health card is useful to avail the benefits of schemes such as Ration, Arogyasri, Fee Reimbursement and other welfare schemes, he said.
Everyone’s health profile will also be included in the family digital card to support the poor. The pilot project has been launched to find out the challenges in the issuance of the family digital cards. Will find solutions to every problem encountered in the pilot project, he maintained.
Speaking after launching the enumeration for the issuance of Digital Family card in Hyderabad on Thursday, the CM said that the previous KCR government fell on deaf ears despite people demanding ration cards in the last 10 years. “My government decided to issue ration cards to every needy. Studied the policies adopted in other states and introduced a new policy in Telangana”, he stated
Unfortunately, some people do not know the difference between a ration card and a family digital card. All the details of welfare schemes which are being implemented by various departments will be preserved in the single family digital card. Government is taking measures to make the information of 30 departments in the family card with a single click, he stated.
The last government did not solve the Secunderabad Cantonment problems during its 10-year rule. Soon after coming to power, my government took the decision to give houses site pattas through land transfer to the centre, he claimed.
He reminded that the main objective of the HYDRAA and the Musi Riverfront Development project is to protect the city of Hyderabad. The Telangana society is closely watching the drama with hired gangs. The BRS party was having over Rs 1500 crore looted public money and is stashed in the BRS party accounts. Distribute Rs 500 crores from the money to the poor in Musi area, he demanded.
The Government is ready to invite suggestions for alternatives. Why the Opposition maintain silence during the discussion on HYDRAA in the Assembly. The Government is providing houses and Rs 25,000 financial assistance to the displaced, who are living in unhygienic conditions along the Musi river, to lead a better life with self-respect.
The opposition leaders raised poor issues only to protect their farmhouses. Should we demolish the illegally constructed farmhouses owned by KTR? Or not?, he asked. Shall the farmhouses owned by BRS leader Sabita Indra Reddy’s three sons pull down? They are raising poor people’s housing only to protect their farmhouses.
Is it not the BRS leaders who sold plots in Nallacheruvu and on the banks of the Musi river? I have been in public life for the last 20 years and am well aware of people’s rights. How long the opposition played dirty politics on the Musi issue. Around 1000 acres of land are available in Jawahar Nagar. Ready to distribute the land and build Indiramma houses for the poor, he stated.
Demanding the local MP E Rajendar to spell out PM Modi’s contribution. The MP supported the Sabarmati Riverfront project and opposed the Musi project. MP Eatala Rajendar is copying KTR and Harish Rao in his speeches. Eatala has changed the party but practicing old habits, he charged.
Let us all go to Modi and seek the Centre’s help for housing for the poor along Musi river. I do not have any apprehensions. Suggesting to BRS and BJP leaders to conduct a survey on Lakes and encroachments in the City. Hundreds of water bodies have been encroached. As a result, the city is witnessing floods and lakhs of families are affected badly.
The Ponds and Nalas have already disappeared and the Musi river will also vanish soon. I am well aware of the depth of politics and the actions taken by the government only to provide a better future for the city. Witnessed poor people’s sorrows and did not want to see tears in their eyes.
The Government’s main aim is to provide a better alternative to every poor family. The encroachments at Lakes, Ponds and Musi river should be removed. Appealing to opposition to suggest how to render justice to the poor. Is your 10-year rule experience meant for only exploitation? Let the previous rulers share their administrative acumen to solve poor people’s problems, he said.
Ready to meet PM Narendra Modi with the entire state cabinet. Is Eatala Rajendar ready to convince the centre and provide Rs 25,000 crore funds, he questioned. Is it a crime to sanction houses for the homeless poor? Is it wrong to protect Nalgonda people who are drinking polluted water? Do you want to kill Nalgonda people for not supporting you in the elections?
No need for bulldozers to counter the fools. The Government took up the Musi river project for Hyderabad’s future and not for political gains, he maintained. Leaders who carried kickbacks are only speaking about them. Does anyone receive kickbacks if houses are removed, except cruises? People will not forgive KTR if he resorts to illegal works with looted money.
