HYDERABAD, DECEMBER 13, 2024: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Batti Vikramarka, Ministers, Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari, Senior IAS, IPS officers and other public representatives will personally visit Gurukul and Residential hostels on Saturday (December 14, 2024) to personally assess the prevailing conditions in welfare hostels in the state and also have lunch with the hostel students.
The Government has taken a revolutionary decision by increasing diet charges by 40% and cosmetic charges by 200% for nearly 8 lakh students in SC, ST, BC and minority hostels in the state. In addition, the government has also provided infrastructure facilities in schools in the state at a cost of Rs.667.25 crores. A State Education Commission has also been formed under the chairmanship of Aakunuri Murali to continuously monitor the performance of hostels.
Further, Govt. also initiated the construction of integrated hostels in all Assembly constituencies in the state. In this context, in order to provide more nutritious food and improve educational standards in SC, ST, BC and minority hostels, on the instructions of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, the entire state government machinery will visit all the Gurukul welfare hostels in the state on Saturday and personally review the conditions.
Details of the Chief Minister and Ministers’ visit:
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will make a surprise visit to the welfare hostel in Rangareddy, Vikarabad and Hyderabad districts. Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka will conduct inspections at MJPBCWR JC (Girls) Madhira School, Bonakal in Khammam district.
Ministers Damodar Raja Narasimha will visit MJPBCWR JC(Girls), Mylaram Village, Ghanpur, Bhupalpally District. D Sridhar Babu will visit MJPBCWR JC(Girls), Mylaram Village, Ghanpur, Bhupalpally Dist., Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy will visit TGTWR JC (Girls), Madiripuram, Thirumalaipalem, Khammam Dist., Ponnam Prabhakar will visit TGSWR JC(Boys), Shaikpet, Hyderabad, Konda Surekha will visit TGSWR JC(Boys), Hathanoora, Sangareddy, Anasuya Seethakka will visit Ashram High School (Girls), Nerigonda, Adilabad, Tummala Nageshwara Rao will visit Eklavya Model RI, TWD, Gandugulapally, Dammapeta Mandal, Badradri Kothagudem district, Jupally Krishna Rao will visit TGSWR JC(Girls), Kollapur, Nagarkurnool District.
