KARIMNAGAR, JUNE 13, 2024: Choppadandi legislator Medipalli Satyam, who had celebrated his birthday on June 5 had informed his supporters to present him with books, pens and pencils instead of bouquets and shawls, had donated the books and pens and pencils to Collector Pamela Satpathy to distribute the same to the government school students.
It may be recalled that the Choppadandi MLA had won accolades for donating his one-month salary for the distribution of snacks for evening study hours to the government school students preparing for the SSC examinations recently. The fresh initiative of distributing the books and pens to the students had been appreciated by all sections of society.
Accordingly, the legislator had handed the books and pens donated by his supporters during his birthday to the Collector in Karimnagar town on Thursday. On this occasion, the legislator said that Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy was taking all measures to bring back the past glory to the government schools. He called upon the people to utilise the services being provided by the government schools for allround development of students. DEO Ch Janardhan Rao and others were also present.
