KARIMNAGAR, JULY 19, 2024: It was celebrations time at the Vivekananda degree and PG college in Karimnagar town under the banner of ‘Intricate Impressions’ as part of the auspicious Ashadam month on Friday.
A colourful cultural programmes were organised on the occasion wherein the students participated in various competitions such as saree draping, hair style, nail art competitions, mehendi competitions and more.
In a press note here on Friday, College academic coordinator and incharge principal B Sampath Kumar said that the students actively participated in the cultural programmes and won accolades for their creativity. Stating that several competitions were held for the girl students, he said in Saree Draping Competition, Navya and Shagun bagged first prize and Lavanya and Kavya bagged second prize
In Hair Style Fest, Vennela stood first and Navya second and in Nail Art Competition Sharvanthi is the winner and Vennela is the runner-up. In Mehendi Competition Ayesha and Shravya are the winners and Vennela is the runner-up.
On this occasion, Mr Sampath Kumar urged the students to follow Indian traditions and customs as they all have scientific importance and also said that Indian traditions are most powerful across the world. Administrative Officer B. Shravan Kumar, Rameshwar Rao, Various Department Incharges, Faculty and students graced the occasion.
