

SIDDIPET, APRIL 12, 2025: NCC 9 Telangana Battalion Commanding Officer Lt Col Jayantha has said that the enrolment in National Cadet Corps would promote values of self-discipline, integrity and cultivate the art of leadership and make cadets under their responsibility towards the society and nation.

The Lt Col who visited the Government Degree College Autonomous – Siddipet NCC Unit on Saturday. On this occasion, Mr Jayantha said that through NCC, one gets a golden opportunity to serve the country, get immense job opportunities, acquire physical strength, mental strength, and leadership qualities and participate in the construction of a new society. Through the NCC certificate, through special entry, one can directly get jobs like officer-level jobs, three armed forces and also Agniveer and thus become participants in nation building. He assured that he will always be available for the advancement of NCC cadets. On this occasion, he was impressed by the discipline of the NCC cadets.
College Principal G. Sunitha said that NCC cadets are well disciplined and have secured many uniformed forces jobs and every year about cadets were being selected as Agniveers. Vice Principal P Ayodhya Reddy assured all assistance for the strengthening of NCC. Subedar Major Sagar Singh, GCI Shivani, Subedar Surya Prasad, PI Staff Anmol Singh, College NCC Caretaker B Krishnaiah, NCC Cadets participated.
